Seizing the funding opportunity

Securing the ERC Synergy Grant was pivotal for Cat4CanCenter's groundbreaking research in combating brain cancer. To articulate the ingenuity of their solution, they turned to us to transform their research into an engaging story. By distilling their complex findings into a clear visual narrative, we facilitated their successful bid, securing the grant of €10.6 million.

Conveying a story with clarity

We devised a visual style anchored in accessibility. Recognising the complexity of the subject matter, our objective was to ensure every element was distinctly visible and easily understood. This involved crafting a cohesive visual language, employing a serene colour palette and intuitive layouts, all harmonising to convey information with the utmost clarity.

Award-winning animation

In addition to aiding the team in securing the grant, this animation garnered recognition from various awards. The film achieved Platinum status at both the MarCom Awards and the TITAN Health Awards in 2024. Jurors commended it as the ‘cream of the crop in the market’. It also received an honourable mention at the MOVE Summit, Scotland's premier animation industry gathering.

A radical approach

We're always excited to work on projects that introduce radical approaches. The Cat4CanCenter project pioneers glioblastoma treatment by combining catalysis, immunology, and drug delivery. Lipid nanoparticles deliver a catalyst to tumors, converting pro-drugs into toxic agents within the tumour.
